Thanks to Jason who emailed us his review of the garmin nuvi 670 gps model. The garmin nuvi 670 is one of the higher end units available from garmin by the summer of 2007, and as such has a lot to live up to which Jason says it does well!

In general, it works great. I love the bright widescreen. I can see it even in direct sunlight. It’s a very user friendly, easy to use device with only 3 options off the main menu. Where to, show map, and other, other having all the other features like Bluetooth and the MP3 player and stuff. However, I am having trouble with the Bluetooth link to my Motorola Razr cell phone. It works fine when I make a call but it only answers properly about half the time. When it doesn’t answer properly I can not hear the person calling but they can hear me.

I bought the dash top friction mount because I didn’t want the thing hanging off my windshield. It has a ball mount which connects directly to the socket mount that comes with the Nuvi. So far it is working very well for me, does not move around on the dash, and it is easy to set on the floor when I park the car so it’s not in plain view.
