Nuvi 200W Review from Brad
After living in New York City for 10 years, hopping on some train to get to some part of the city was such a mundane part of life that I never really appreciated it. Two months ago, my job required me to move to Boston, and in Boston I had my own car and I had to navigate my way in and around Boston by myself. Often I would become frustrated by bad directions, and therefore, decided to buy a gps unit for my car. Since I am not a tech gadget person, I was just looking for an entry level gps unit that was cost efficient, worked reliably, and wasn’t too bulky.
After comparing a handful of gps units, the Garmin Nuvi 200W Widescreen Automotive GPS Navigation System caught my eye. Its bright widescreen, along with turn by turn voice guidance features would allow me to reach my destination with ease. Furthermore, with the mid 200$ price range for this unit, I bought it a day after I saw it. I have been using it for a little over a month now with no problems at all; all the map databases are up to date and very accurate. Although it lacks some features such as a FM transmitter, an mp3 player, it makes up for it with reliability, cost, and aesthetically pleasing slim size.
